NIKE – REACTIVE CAMPAIGNS

This is a collection of Nike reactive campaigns. Whenever something awesome happens in the world of sport, we react and create work that puts the brand into the conversation. All of the work here was created with limited time and budget.

FC BARCELONA FEMENI – BEST FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD

When Barca Femeni won Champions League we’ve let the world know that they are the best football team in the world. Not an opinion. Fact.

CASTER SEMENYA – RIGHT TO RUN

Together with Nike, we created a campaign around Caster Semenya to raise awareness on DSD (differences in sexual development) with the goal of celebrating her triumphs and supporting her in the challenges she faces as she strives to be the best athlete she can be.

CRISTIANO RONALDO – GREATNESS STARTS WITH A GOAL

Cristiano Ronaldo broke yet another record and became the top international goal scorer. So we came to his hometown Madeira and restored his very first childhood pitch.

ROGER FEDERER – FOREVER

Roger Federer was approaching another monumental moment in already illustrious career, being the older ranked number one player ever. This caught everyone off-guard so we had one weekend to prepare for this moment. So we wrote this film, which ran on the W34 St in NYC, designed a full-pager in New York Times Sunday, and got it out right as Roger got to the top spot one more time

FRANCE – WORLD CUP WIN

The French team was going to win the World Cup 20 years after they first won it. This would be the youngest, most diverse French team that has every played for the country. They didn’t grow up in elite academies, but the street pitches all over France. This 2nd star on the shirt, is to inspire the kids that are playing on those pitches now, to put a 3rd star on that shirt someday.

They weren’t the favourites to win the tournament, so as they got into the final, we had a week to do it. So Nike made a shirt, we sent a small team of AD, DP, and Producer down to Paris, shot it the day before the final game. For the VO, we got the French rapper Niska, to record it while he was on holiday in Morocco.

The work blew up and the line was even projected on the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile during the parade.

CROATIA – WORLD CUP FINAL

The red and white checkerboard design of the Croatian jersey is one of the most iconic in the world – especially after the country’s relentless and impressive 2018 World Cup run. While Croatia didn’t end up defeating France in the final match, we created this concept that lived as out of home, social content and t-shirts worn by the team during their massive welcome home parade in Zagreb.

CRISTIANO RONALDO – DO IT AGAIN

Cristiano Ronaldo – one of the most celebrated and awarded football players (and athletes) of our time – made a historic move to Italy.

To celebrate his move, we placed a massive billboard in Turin that listed out his greatest accomplishments and ended with one simple challenge: Now forget it all, and do it again.

The billboard went up in Turin right before his first home game.
